This program uses OCR technology to scan a *.PDF 
document, and create a conversion to "Word" (*.RTF 
or *.DOC) or Plain Text format. You can also save 
the *.PDF file as an "Image" (*.JPG, *.BMP, *.TIF, 
*.PNG, *.GIF, *.PCX, or *.TGA) or HTML, for which 
you can set the resolution and color depth.  All 
conversions are run as batches, and you can 
specify which pages in the document to convert.

Conversion to "Word" does a reasonable good job of 
preserving the original files layouts and formatting 
in structured documents, such as contracts.  Tabular  
data will be converted into Tables.  It however has 
extreme difficulty locating text in illustrations or 
in scans of books.  

Note that only non-commercial single user use is 
freeware. Other users must purchase a liscense. 
There are no restrictions built into this software.


WARNING: There are newer versions of this software,
but they are fakeout DEMO programs, limiting you to 
only three conversions (and no batch processing).
