WinMOO (ver 0.1.0beta8) Abandoned Freeware Multi-User Object Oriented -> This MOO (Multi-User Object Oriented) is a port of the LambdaMOO server for Windows, used for online social intercourse. A MOO is a special type of MUD (Multi-User Dungeon), that, like a MUSH, gives any player, by default, the ability to extend the world by creating new rooms or objects and specifying their behavior; but also allows the user to modify the program database itself! This version of WinMOO runs as an NT-Service. In order to make the built-in function "ctime()" work properly, you must set the "TZ" environment variable in the "autoexec.nt" file (for example, "set TZ=EST5EDT" or "set TZ=PST8PDT"). Note that there must be a "world" (i.e. database file) that can be served up, in order for users to log in and begin interacting. You can used the included file "Minimal.db", but we suggest you start with the LambdaMOO core database "LambdaCore-latest.db".
