WinTalk
(ver 1.27)
Abandoned Freeware

WinTalk is an implementation of UNIX TALK (talkd) for
Windows. It was written by Glen Daniels of ELF
Communications. WinTalk allows two-way text-based
conversation between two TALK users in realtime.

NOTE: WinTalk adds a "wintalk.ini" file to the WINNT
directory.

NOTE: Being extremely old Win32 software, it does not
correctly identify the Windows 2000 "tray". As such,
you can not minimize the program into the Tray area,
even if you add the setting

	tray_only = yes

in the wintalk.ini file.

NOTE: You should not run "Setup", as it only partially
works (it will create an install directory, but does not
setup icons in the program menu). Instead, just place
WTALK32.exe (and optionally WINTALK.HLP) into a directory
of your choice, and click on WTALK32.exe. All the setup
did anyways was create an install folder and Program Icon.
