Word Processors that need to access the Windows RTF file format used 
by Microsoft Word require the Microsoft RichText DLL.  This library 
unfortunately does not ship with Microsoft Windows 2000 (although it 
is bundled as part of Microsofts free Word Viewer program).

To upgrade Windows, simply drop this riched20.dll file into the 
WINNT SYSTEM32 (or WINDOWS SYSTEM) directory.

NOTE: Each version of the RichText DLL is a superset of the previous 
one.  However, as software already written expects the file name to be
riched20.dll, version 3.0 had to keep the same name for compatability.
